CONFIRMED
Campus has been displaced to an unknown location.

We are no longer in Donghai (东海).

Surrounding geography does not match any known region near the university. Stars visible at dusk do not match expected positions for our latitude.

Phone compass readings + sun position confirm: we are in the Southern Hemisphere.

This has been verified by multiple observers independently.

Prof. William Zhang (张教授) Assessment
Probable multiverse traversal event.

We are still on Earth (gravity, atmosphere, day length all normal). Physics appears unchanged.

The displacement affected the entire campus including the ground beneath it. Mechanism unknown.

Prof. William Zhang requests that anyone with physics, astronomy, or geology background report to Science Building Room 301 tomorrow morning.
NO SIGNAL
No phone signal.
No internet.
No external communication of any kind.

All carriers tested. Wi-Fi networks visible are campus-only (no upstream connection).

Satellite positioning: no GPS, no BeiDou, no GLONASS lock.

Do not waste phone battery searching for signal. Put devices in airplane mode.
吴队 (Captain Wu) Patrol Summary
First patrol returned approximately 16:00.

Terrain: Open grassland with scattered acacia-type trees. Gently rolling. Soil appears fertile.

Wildlife: Large herbivores observed at distance (possibly wildebeest or similar). Birds. No predators sighted but cannot rule out.

Humans: None. No structures, roads, fences, or any sign of human presence beyond campus boundary.

Water: A stream or small river reported ~2km to the southeast. Not yet tested.

BOUNDARY EDGE — Marked
Boundary team returned ~16:45.

Campus sits on an irregular oval, roughly 400m north-south, 200m east-west. Edge is sharp — campus ground ends, terrain begins. No gradual transition.

Bright cloth strips and tape placed at ~50m intervals around full perimeter.

What's beyond the edge:
North: dense forest (trees start immediately)
South: open grassland with scattered trees, large animals visible at distance
East: forest on a low ridge
West/southwest: thick bush, lower ground, wet

Do not remove boundary markers.
— Boundary survey team
WATER INFRASTRUCTURE
Working taps: Ground floor, Teaching Bldg 1 (cold only). Library basement (cold only). Caf. 1 kitchen (cold + hot via boiler).

Non-working: Dorm Bldgs 2 & 3 above 3rd floor (pressure too low). Science Bldg (no flow).

Toilets: Functional on ground and 1st floors only. Upper floors: carry water up or use ground floor.
⚠ FILL CONTAINERS BEFORE NIGHTFALL.
Water pressure may drop further overnight. Fill any available bottles, pots, basins now.

Campus water tank levels unknown — plumbing team investigating.

Wayne Zhang (张维) — Plumbing Report
Posted ~23:00
Inspected full campus plumbing tonight.

Sewage: Gravity-fed system. Main line runs south. Line terminates at campus boundary — pipe cut clean, same as ground edge. Currently draining into soil ~3m past boundary.

Water tanks: Two rooftop tanks (Teaching Bldg 1, Caf. 1). Combined ~15,000L. Currently ~60% full. No upstream supply.

Pressure: Upper-floor loss confirmed — tanks not high enough without pump. Pump draws significant power.

15,000L ÷ 2,000 people = 7.5L/person = 3–4 DAYS drinking water only.
No washing. No cooking water. No flushing.
